RE-ENGINEERED by: k8 is a personal brand created by a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Florida.

In college, Kaitlin started making her own tailgating outfits and reworking friends’ old clothes to give back to them as new pieces.

She then started selling her work at local artisanal markets around Gainesville and has been passionate about growing her business ever since.

The brand focuses on creating sustainable clothing through redesigning and reworking existing material from secondhand stores and donations.

This results in unique one-of-one pieces that highlight original style while helping reduce clothing waste for the environment.

Re-Engineered is devoted to changing the fashion industry by limiting our consumption of new clothing and instead finding the beauty in what already exists.
