Laurens specialty is vibrant, humorous acrylic pet portraits. She graduated from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education. During her time working as an art teacher in Philadelphia, she adopted two cats, Violet and Powder. She started creating artwork about the mundane, but universally relatable moments of pet ownership. In a world where caring about pets makes you a crazy cat lady, she seeks to acknowledge the positive impact pets have on our lives.
