8/19 PAINTING WITH A PIT COLLAB WORKSHOP

We're hosting a fundraising workshop in collaboration with Painting with a Pit where you get to paint your own pet portrait with the help of Gainesville's iconic artist: Samm Epstein (owner of Samm Wehman Art).

Open to everyone! Learn how to paint and take home your own hand painted portrait of your fav furry creature!

100% of the funds raised benefit local animal welfare and conservation organizations and for this event, the proceeds are being donated to St.Francis Vet Care!!

As of 2025, Painting with a Pit has raised over $36,402 for animals.

Samm Epstein, owner of Samm Wehman Art has been both an artist and animal lover her entire life. She combines her two passions by creating her own original custom pet portraits and animal artwork. "Painting with a Pit" is a way for her to use her artist skills to fundraise for animals in need while encouraging creativity within the community. The name was inspired by her rescued pitbulls, who hang out with her when she paints in her art studio. The goal of each of her events is to save lives and fund animal care for local animal welfare organizations. Samm volunteers her time, skills and art supplies so that every penny makes a difference.

REFUND POLICY

If you let us know ahead of time that you’re not able to make it, we can issue you a refund in the form of store credit.

If it’s a no show, no refunds will be issued due to the allocated pre-purchased amount of supplies.
